Security outfit McAfee is offering users the chance to try out Free McAfee Internet Security 2010 completely free for half a year.The security company is permitting the six-month trial to be installed on no less than three different computers. All that users need to do is navigate to the webpage and sign up for the free trial.
“All features and functions will continue to work on Windows, except for McAfee Local Backup, which will not be supported on Windows 7,†McAfee noted. “When users are upgrading their computer to Windows 7 they will be notified during the installation process that McAfee Local Backup will no longer be supported on Windows 7. In addition they will be provided with a link to a landing page with instructions on how to restore existing back up files prior to upgrading to Windows 7.â€
